OME UIL

Welcome to the OME UIL page!

What we do

UIL is a districtwide academic competition held each spring. Some examples of categories include: dictionary skills, oral reading, spelling, storytelling, art, creative writing, ready writing, number sense, chess puzzles, listening skills, and music memory.

Why you should join

Students who participate in UIL are exposed to a wide-variety of new interests and skillsets. Furthermore, they get to participate in fun, district-wide competitions. Grades 2-5 may participate!

When we meet

Meeting times vary upon student selection. Your child's UIL coach will send meeting times and permission form when the time gets closer.
